Dan Profile

Geriatrician
Conjoint Lecturer UNSW
Fellow of The Royal Australian College of Physicians

Dan works in Port Macquarie NSW as a Geriatrician with a special interest in cognitive disorders, frailty and medical education. He relocated there in 2019 after completing his medical training in Sydney with Royal Prince Alfred, Concord and St. Vincent’s Hospitals.

Dan chose Geriatrics as he felt it had great potential as a medical field. “There is so much knowledge emerging around why we age and the underlying processes of Dementia, resulting in drastic changes in how we approach these diseases. I felt that I could make a real difference and improve the quality of life of people who have played such an important role in developing the history of this country” - Dan.

Outside of work, Dan loves spending time outdoors with his family, exercising, playing music and working in his Civil Celebrant role.
